how i represent matrices with linear typing

matrix-multiplication-from-mathwarehouse.comhere are a 4x2 matrix and a 2x3 matrix
here's an image (from mathwarehouse.com) and how i represent them with linear typing:
A=
[7 3]...
[2 5]...
[6 8]...
[9 0]
B=
[7 4 9]...
[8 1 5]
notice i use ellipse (...) to indicate the matrix continues.
i use preformatting (<pre>) to avoid proportional spacing and align the data.

also, in the following example of a 2x3 matrix, 1,1 etc is really 1,1 but subscript is a pain (so is superscript)
A=
[a1,1 a1,2 a1,3]...
[a2,1 a2,2 a2,3]

i use the mnemonic 'arc' to remember rows come before columns.
