Active Hope – How to Face the Mess We’re in Without Going Crazy

If you can’t come to SHARE’s film/dinner/AGM in Midland, check out Transition Barrie’s June Meet-Up

featuring ‘Active Hope – How to Face the Mess We’re in Without Going Crazy’

When: Wednesday, June 20th from 7:30pm to 9:00pm
Where: Huronia room, second floor, City Hall

It’s hard to look at things unravelling and still go on, feeling that each of us can make a difference. You are invited to join Transition Barrie for our monthly Meet-Up.  Join us to find ways to “face the mess.”

All societies tell stories about how things work in their world – stories that we use to make sense of events that we see happening.

We will look at three different stories being acted out in our times. We’ll look at how accurately they describe the way we see the world. Then we’ll look at how one of these stories can offer active hope, and what we might do about it.
