today’s adventures

after fingerpainting and making vanilla cookies with deanna and laughing and brainstorming how to get to barrie with angela, i triked to pt mcnicoll and back (trike report)–my earworm, bruce cockburn singing ‘got to kick at the darkness ’til it bleeds daylight’ but when i check my email he’s ‘wonderin’ where the lions are’–sue jokes and wonders that he ‘hasn’t found those damn lions yet.’

you know, tho i’m disabled and somewhat ignored, i’m still male, white, educated, first world–leonine–not female, or non-white, or uneducated, or third world–like some fellow canadians, homeless or on reserves or not.

this evening, we checked out a 180-year-old pine at king and colborne on the way to weeding raised beds and communing with fellow gardeners at little lake. was that a bee moth?
